St. Timothy School’s mission is to empower students to become their best selves, spiritually, intellectually, physically, emotionally, and socially in a Christian environment. Our curriculum reflects our mission and addresses the needs of each student developmentally and emphasizes growth in all areas.

The curriculum for our preschool includes a balance of guided play activities, creative movement, reading and math readiness, creative art, science, and Bible. We also support the children’s creativity through music, conversation, story times, and dramatic play. Outdoor play, exploration, and large and small group activities round out their schedule. Weekly chapel is also an important part of their spiritual experience here. Our preschool uses the WINGS curriculum, a Georgia approved curriculum that has been identified as one model that optimally aligns with the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS).

The curriculum for our primary grades (Kindergarten through grade 5) includes rigorous and relevant content with the goals for our students of fostering a love of learning, promoting academic achievement, and supporting a sense of responsibility for self and the world in a nurturing Christian setting. Subjects include Bible, Chapel, Language Arts and Spelling, Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, Handwriting, Spanish, Physical Education, Computer Science, Art, and Music. Curriculum resources have been carefully chosen to give students a balanced program allowing them to excel. Please see 2016-2017 Academic Program and Fees for more information.

Our highly qualified faculty makes every effort to meet every student where they are, and together, soar.
